Darren started his Construction journey as an Intern/Project Engineer with a Government 8(a) Contractor, while still in school, working heavily in the pre-construction phase of projects, creating relationships with many local trade Contractors, and is now helping TDSC as the Preconstruction Manager to ensure that we continue to be awarded great projects and continue our journey of making clients happy!

She in instrumental in aiding the Preconstruction team manage all the essential duties to support responses to Federal, Municipal, and Private bid solicitations.

JEF ABERSOLD | SUPERINTENDENT/QCM/SSHO

Jef brings over 20 years of on-site construction experience to the TDSC team. He is crucial in driving project operational excellence. Jef has an impressive track record of positive subcontractor relationships, uncovering project cost reductions, driving schedules for on-time delivery, and taking the time daily to make jobsite safety his #1 priority.

Jef’s specialties include logistics, commercial construction, and transportation. He has successfully managed projects with budgets of up to $65M and he prides himself on building a culture of safety, commitment, and accountability among teams of up to 80+ subs and team members.

STEPHEN CAMPBELL | SUPERINTENDENT/QCM/SSHO

Stephen offers over 30 years of on-site construction management background to the TDSC team. His overall responsibility includes planning and coordinating of on-site construction operations and services for all work and personnel under his supervision. Acting in that capacity, he reports to the project manager and is responsible for overseeing the multiple construction trades and the field execution of all facets of the projects he is overseeing, many of which occur simultaneously. He carefully manages the scheduling and timing of activities to meet the overall project schedules. He ensures that the projects stay within budget, and he organizes, coordinates, and supervises foremen and all craft employees. He determines work priorities and work activities while simultaneously monitoring and coordinating all safety-related issues. He also monitors and coordinates all quality control-related activities.

Stephen holds a Virginia Class “A” Builders License and is USACE/NAVFAC CQCM Certified.  He has years of hands-on experience and knowledge, which he gained through his roles as a superintendent, quality control manager, and safety manager. Working in both the private sector and in Federal Government Contracting, he is experienced in the areas of residential and commercial building including facilities renovation and maintenance management. His dedication to work, years of experience in the construction industry, excellent management skills and overall attitude towards client satisfaction makes him a valuable and necessary member of the TDSC team!

ABE MARQUEZ | SUPERINTENDENT/QCM/SSHO

Abe has over 20 years of on-site construction experience and has become a crucial member of the TDSC team since 2019. He has overseen numerous simultaneous multi-trade projects, supervising all activities and on-site staff while consistently ensuring the safety and compliance requirements of each project.

Abe is well-versed in communicating with Owner Representatives, Subcontractors, and Project Management teams alike – coordinating outages, phased construction schedules, testing, and special inspections impeccably.
