OUR HISTORY
How it all started…
Tidewater Development Services Corporation (TDSC) was founded in 2011 as TST Tactical Defense Solutions to handle emerging federal contracting needs. Business operations began in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Very quickly there was a need to move into a larger office space, so we moved operations from Virginia Beach to Norfolk, Virginia. While in Norfolk, TST Tactical Defense Solutions expanded into the construction field with a commercial roofing division.
After operating for several years in Norfolk, while continuing to see growth, TST Tactical Defense Solutions moved back to Virginia Beach, VA at the beginning of 2018, and started another division to handle general contracting projects that were beginning to become more and more frequent. TDSC was born.
By 2019, we had outgrown another office, moving to our current office in Virginia Beach, where we formed another division to handle commercial glazing and panels.
Late 2023 marked another milestone in growth with the purchase of a much larger office space and the construction of a new Warehouse Facility. Still located in Virginia Beach, we are excited with our new facility and the space if affords us to expand our in-house fabrication services and overall customer service to our clients.
The company has grown considerably since its inception and continues its promise of providing unparalleled technical and management services. We are now a fully tenured General Contractor, with in-house divisions to handle commercial roofing and glazing. We are a one-stop shop for all your construction needs and are looking forward to seeing how we continue to grow!
