Ric Richardson brings over 19 years of corporate safety leadership and more than 30 years of experience in accident, incident, and injury investigation to TDSC. A seasoned safety professional, Ric has worked with everyone from executive leadership to field crews, guiding organizations in building strong safety cultures. His expertise includes corporate safety policy development, training program design, regulatory compliance, and mentoring the next generation of safety professionals.

Before joining the construction safety field, Ric dedicated 23 years to public service with the Newport News Police Department, serving in roles ranging from detective and tactical operations officer to sergeant and certified peer counselor. His unique background equips him with exceptional skills in risk analysis, investigation, and team development. Holding multiple certifications — including Associate Safety Professional, OSHA Outreach Instructor, and specialty trainer credentials — Ric is committed to reinforcing safe practices, building trust, and ensuring that every worker goes home safe at the end of the day.
