Zalieka Gibbs brings a strong civil engineering foundation and a proven background in estimating and project engineering to her role as Estimator for TDSC. A graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology focused on construction management, Zalieka combines technical expertise with practical experience across diverse industries, including shipbuilding, nuclear propulsion, and large-scale construction projects. Her ability to analyze specifications, develop accurate cost estimates, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams ensures reliable budgeting and effective preconstruction planning.
Prior to joining TDSC, Zalieka held roles with S.B. Ballard Construction, Fay Southeast, and Newport News Shipbuilding, where she developed skills in estimating, design, and project management. She is proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modeling, experienced in preparing bids and budgets, and recognized for her strategic planning and problem-solving abilities. Dedicated and detail-oriented, Zalieka supports TDSC’s mission of delivering quality and value to every client.
